Frequently Asked Questions
Magic Bin Cleaners
Q. Do I need to be home for your services?
A. No. You do not need to be at home to have your trash bins cleaned. We clean your trash bins on the morning after your trash pick up day. As long as your trash bins are on the curb, we'll clean them on your scheduled date.Q. Why should I have my trash and recycle bins cleaned?
A. We not only clean your trash bins, but we disinfect, sanitize and deodorize them as well. We use water temps of approximately 200 degrees fahrenheit which rids them 99.9% of bacteria, germs, and viruses. Additionally, we spray down the outside of the can including the parts most often touched such as the lid and handle. Our state-of-the-art system effectively reduces health hazards such as Tuberculosis, Strep, staph, E-Coli, Salmonella & Listeria.Q. Do you clean both trash bins and recycle bins?
A. Yes. We recommend cleaning both, due to bacteria, viruses, and germs that build up on both types of bins.Q. What areas do you service?
A. Magic Bin Cleaners services Branford, Center Brook, Chester, Clinton, Deep River, Essex, Guilford, Killingworth, Niantic, Madison, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, and Westbrook, Connecticut.Q. How do I start the service?
A. Visit our "SERVICES" section on this website to sign-up quickly and easily.Q. How often should my trash bins be cleaned?
A. Cleaning your trash bins at least once a month is highly recommended. Our service plans and scheduling is flexible. From a health standpoint, frequency of cleaning will impact bacteria and germ incubation and growth.Q. Will you consider one-time cleanings?
A. Yes! Our service and pricing plans are flexible and can be tailored to your needs. As the first several cleanings are always the hardest due to residual build-up, it is less expensive (per visit) to have your trash bin cleaned regularly.Q. Where do you get the water to clean my trash bin?
A. We bring it with us! We utilize reclaimed water that is filtered. Technically, our water is safe enough to drink.Q. What happens to all the dirty water that cleaning my trash bin generates?
A. We take that with us. Our self-contained system captures all the "dirty water" so that your property is left looking clean.Q. How do I update my payment information?
